This year Bihar completes 100 years of its existence, and as a tribute to Bihar, director Anurag Kashyap is gifting the state with a song from his first ever commercial fim Gangs of Wasseypur  - Jiya ho Bihar ke lala, Jiye tu hazaar Saal .

The song which is sung by Manoj Tiwari (a very big name in Bihar) is a tribute to Bihar for completing 100 years and wishing it a thousand more years to live.

Anurag Kashyap, we hear has personally gone to Patna today to wish the state luck.

The film, Gangs of Wasseypur is about the coal mafia in Dhanbad and will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in the Directors' Fortnight section.

We hope, Anurag's gesture pays off well and his movie is a huge success, especially in Bihar!
