Kamal Haasan, known for his different style and approach in film making, often inspires a lot of people. And now veteran Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino says that he too was inspired by Kamal's way of working.
Tarantino revealed that he was inspired by Kamal's yesteryear flick 'Aalavandhan', to use graphics for the most gruesome scenes in his 'Kill Bill' series.
"When I did the animation action sequence 12 years ago it was seen as self-indulgent and odd by a lot of people. Now that it has been endorsed by a filmmaker of such brilliance, critics will be kinder to some of the things I attempt in my films," said Kamal, who was indeed happy by Quentin's gesture.
Aalavandhan, was a 2001 thriller in which Kamal played a dangerous psycopath and used graphics to depict his violence.
