Rajeev is happy with his career choices

12th March 2013

Rajeev Khandelwal has been a person who is ruled by decisions of his heart. He quit the small screen when he became the most popular face of television.

Despite his boy-next-door image, he took the road less taken and made his debut in Bollywood with the film 'Aamir'.

Post that, he did films like 'Shaitan', 'Soundtrack' and the latest being 'Table No. 21', all of which have been as different as chalk and cheese. Though people pinned him as the next superstar, Rajeev is happy to have struck a clean balance between commercial and critical success.

"The script has to be extremely interesting for me to sign. It should occupy my mind throughout. If it doesn't let me sleep, I sign the film only then. I have been offered films where the makers stated that it would take my career to a new high on commercial front. But I am happy with my career," he said.

He further added, "It is very important that the script reaches the masses and I am happy with films like Aamir, Shaitan and Table No. 21 under my belt."
