Superstar Rajnikanth's ill health has been a matter of concern since quite some time now. In his 60's, the actor has been facing recurrent respiratory infection and gastrointestinal problems. He was discharged last week from the Sri Ramchandra Medical Center, where he was in the Intensive Care Unit because his kidneys were not functioning properly. The actor has been taken to the Lion city Singapore for further treatment.

Rajnikanth is accompanied by his wife and daughter to the city where he will continue his treatment. It was earlier reported that Rajini will be taken to London for treatment but Latha Rajnikanth had denied the reports. Going abroad for treatment was definitely the plan and so the family has flown off to Singapore. The ambulance was taken right to the airport and Rajni was seated on a wheel-chair to be taken to the aircraft.
