Ramya Krishna is doing the role of a college professor in a new film titled 'Kolimi'. The film, starring Shivaji in the lead role, is said to be a satire on the Telangana issue. Though both Shivaji and Ramya Krishna are from Seemandhra (non-Telangana region), they have agreed to be part of the movie, as they feel that art has no region or language barriers.

Directed by Nagendra, 'Kolimi' is being produced Uma Parvathi and Lavanya Reddy under Charitra Creations' banner. The first schedule of the shoot is over and the second schedule is expected to be started soon.

Meanwhile, Ramya Krishna is making waves in every household in Tamil Nadu, with her credible performance in the mega serial 'Thangam', being aired on a leading Tamil television channel. The serial is her own production venture.
