Bollywood's hottest heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, the heir of the Kapoor clan has by far made his family proud of his work. Son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Ranbir is now looking forward to pay a special ode to his uncle Randhir Kapoor, father of cousins Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor in his forthcoming film.

He, who has been busy shooting for 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', is all set to groove to the retro song with the same name that featured Randhir in it. Ranbir will be seen grooving to the retro hit after which the film is titled.

Produced by Karan Johar, the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead is directed by Ayan Mukherjee who also directed 'Wake Up Sid'.

The song we hear will be used in its original form and in all probability will not be remixed.

Earlier as well, Ranbir performed on the famous track 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' from the film 'Hum Kisise Kum Naheen'. This was a song that was made memorable by his father Rishi Kapoor who played the lead in the film.
