Rumour has it, that Randeep Hooda will apparently play Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's next project based on the Indian cricket team's world cup in 1983.

The director is gathering information about Kapil Dev who led the team to victory. Being a sport enthusiast, Randeep owns a polo team, but has not invested in any other sports like other stars in Bollywood.

He says, "Actors promoting various sports have not invested in them, they have only put their name on the teams. They don't even play those sports. I have my own team, play the game and also get featured on the entertainment as well as the sports pages."

Currently Hooda is looking forward to his upcoming flick, 'Rang Rasiya'. The actor was impressed with director Ketan Mehta's previous work, which compelled him to sign this film.
