(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Reese Witherspoon loves spending "all day outside."

The 36-year-old actress has two kids 12-year-old Ava and Deacon, eight with her ex Ryan Phillippe and is currently expecting her third child with husband Jim Toth.

Reese married Jim at her holiday home Libbey Ranch in Ojai, California last year.

The star absolutely relishes visiting this rural estate from time to time to escape her hectic life in Los Angeles.

"[Libbey Ranch] reminds me of growing up in Tennessee, where we spent all day outside," she revealed in the upcoming issue of Elle Dcor magazine. "I wanted my children to have that experience, to get muddy and hang out with the animals.

"[The house] is meditative and restorative. As soon as I drive through the gate, I relax. The air is fresh, the phone isn't ringing, you can't access e-mail. Time slows down. Within an hour I'm lying on that couch taking a big fat nap. It's like having a little bit of Tennessee in California."

Reese enjoys catching up with her family around the fire.

"Everyone congregates around the stone fireplace in the great room. It's cozy and warm," she explained. "In the summer, it's the coolest room, because of the stone." (C) Cover Media
