(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Reese Witherspoon and her husband are reportedly praying nightly that she falls pregnant.

The Hollywood star married agent Jim Toth earlier this year, following a whirlwind romance. Reese already has daughter Ava, 11, and seven-year-old son Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and is said to be keen to add to her brood.

Jim would also love to have a baby, with the pair thought to be trying to fall pregnant at the moment.

"They both want a baby," a source told In Touch Weekly. "But instead of trying IVF, they're turned to God. They say a prayer every night before bed in hopes of conceiving."

Reese, 35, and her 40-year-old spouse regularly attend church with their family and are sure they will be blessed with a baby before long.

The actress sparked speculation she might be expecting in May, when she was seen purchasing baby clothes from a boutique. She told the sales assistant there were a few things she had to pick up, choosing items in neutral colours such as yellow and cream.

Reese is known to be open to the idea of expanding her family, admitting she'd love to add to her brood in January.

"Oh sure, I would be lucky to have more kids. When it starts out it's physically exhausting, and then it becomes very emotional. It's been really fascinating. I've felt lucky to be able to guide them through life," she said. (C) Cover Media
