(Cover) - EN Movies - Reese Witherspoon is set to star and produce in a new romantic comedy.

The Oscar-winning actress has been linked to Who Invited Her? which tells the story of a woman who crashes a bachelor party weekend. Novelist Sascha Rothchild is responsible for the pitch, which has been picked up by DreamWorks following a bidding war with Sony and Paramount.

Reese and Gary Foster, who previously worked on The Soloist, are attached to co-produce the movie. It is believed the 35-year-old star would play the woman who invites herself to party with the group of males.

There is no further information available about possible directors or other actors being lined up for the role. A script is also yet to be finalised.

Reese is no stranger to acting as producer and star on a movie. She has landed the dual responsibilities for spy comedy This Means War, which also stars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. (C) Cover Media
