There were reports in few sections of the media that actress Madhu Shalini is having an affair with one of the topmost film-makers in the country Ram Gopal Varma. But the ace filmmaker has denied it, saying he just shares a professional relationship with the actress.

'Madhu Shalini is playing a crucial role in my film (Department). There is nothing more than a professional relationship between us. The reports were not true,' RGV says.

The director's latest production venture in Telugu, 'Bejawada' evoked mixed response, besides triggering protests from some sections for its alleged controversial knot.

'I liked the script and hence decided to produce it. Naga Chaitanya did full justice to the script, so did others in the cast and crew,' says Ramu.
