(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ricki Lake has gushed about the man who will be her second husband.

The talk show host turned Dancing With The Stars contestant got engaged to jewellery designer Christian Evans earlier this year and says he is the perfect man for her.

The 43-year-old spoke to In Touch about her beau and says that they have the perfect relationship.

"He's amazing!" Ricki said. "It took me 42 years to find the right one. I feel like we are soulmates. We have been together now for 14-and-a-half months, and we just never argue. We complement each other."

Ricki was previously married to artist Rob Sussman and the couple have two children; Milo, 14, and Owen, ten.

Christian has a six-year-old from a previous relationship and the lovebirds do not plan to have any more children.

But Ricki says they are a great blended family and she is delighted how everyone gets along.

"They absolutely love him and he loves them," she says of her children's relationship with her man and added that Christian was "committed" to being a great stepfather.

She added that he goes out of his way to attend school functions with the children which are sometimes a long drive away.

Although Ricki revealed that she has been too busy on the dancing show to focus much on her wedding she admitted that she cannot wait to say, "I do."

"It's definitely happening," she says of her dream wedding. "I just haven't been able to focus on it!"

But what she is excited about is the 20lbs that she has lost since starting the show but maintains that her fianc couldn't care less about her size.

"Christian loves me no matter what," she gushed. "But he's definitely into the fact that I feel good about myself now." (C) Cover Media
