(Cover) - EN Star Style - Rihanna wanted her locks to look really sexy in the music promo for California King Bed.

The 23-year-old songstress recently unveiled the raunchy new video, which sees her scantily clad and seducing a young man in the bedroom.

Her famous tresses were styled for the promo by celebrity hair expert Ursula Stephen, who has explained the inspiration for the raunchy aesthetic.

Rihanna wanted something really sexy, movable and bedhead-ish for this video. That was the direction and we just went with it, she explained to StyleList.

It was fundamental that Rihanna looked carefree and not too over-styled in the promo, so Ursula didnt overdo it with creams or mousses. The hairdresser has revealed exactly how Rihannas tresses were styled so fans can recreate the look.

I wanted to keep the products to a minimum so we could achieve that movable style. For this look, I used FHI Digital Curling Iron to create some curls and texture, and would comb out sections with a paddle brush to give the bedhead feel, she explained.

I also used Motions Hold & Shine Styling Spray because it adds texture and hold, but doesn't leave the hair stiff so it still maintains its movement. As the day progressed, the curls naturally fell making it look even more natural and tousled. (C) Cover Media
