Rihanna and Chris Brown have simultaneously released remixes of tracks featuring each other.
The former couple have caused controversy of late with their reconciliation attempts following their messy break-up three years ago. They ended their romance in 2009 when Chris was charged with felony battery after attacking Rihanna during an argument before the Grammys.
However, in recent weeks the pair appear to have grown close again and have been exchanging messages on Twitter.
And now the stars have tweeted remixed versions of their songs featuring each other's guest vocals. Rihanna posted about Chris' single Turn up the Music with an accompanying video.
"Turn up the music remix #RihannaNavy #Teambreezy enjoy!!! (sic)" she wrote, while a remixed version of Rihanna's Birthday Cake track, featuring Chris, arrived online.
"Its a download OVERLOAD!!!! Working on more links for u guys, so errbody could have some #CAKE (sic)," Rihanna added.
Chris's vocals on the new song feature some crude lyrics.
"Girl I wanna f**k you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body. Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it's a private party," he sings.
The song has since been taken down from various sites.
