The 22-year-old had been scheduled to perform at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday alongside hip hop stars Drake and Eminem. But the singer may not appear, after contracting laryngitis and bronchitis over the past few days, placing her participation at risk.

But according to a source, the star will do whatever is necessary in order to fulfil her duties.

Rihanna will perform with Eminem, as scheduled, confirmed a source to RadarOnline.com, adding, Rihanna is on steroids and antibiotics to get her as prime time ready as possible for Sunday night.

Rihanna had been expected to join Eminem for a rendition of their massive hit, Love the Way You Lie, with the performance opening the night. Although she is unwell, Rihanna is determined to make it to the awards, as she doesnt want to disappoint.

Rihanna doesn't want to let Eminem down, but he would totally understand if she couldn't perform. The duo are scheduled to rehearse again on Saturday at Staples, but she probably won't be using her voice a lot at that time, she is saving it for Sunday night," the source added. (C) Cover Media
