Bollywood's first family, 'The Kapoors' have been one of the pioneers of the Indian film industry. 

The family has been in the filmmaking business ever since its inception in India and hence it comes as no surprise to see their heirs continuing the family legacy. 

However, since the past two decades, the family has stopped making films and is giving their contribution in acting only. 

The current heirs of Kapoors - Kareena and Ranbir - have stuck to acting and have consciously stayed away from filmmaking despite of the great history of their family owned banner RK banners which went down the hill a few years back. 

Down but not out, claims Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor who is affirmative that they will certainly revive the banner and make films under it. 

In fact, he says that if not for his restrictions, Ranbir would've made 4-5 films under their banner. But because Ranbir is only a few years old in the acting business, he wants him to completely establish himself as an actor, earn some credibility for his work and then take up filmmaking.
