Rob Kardashian has been accused of trying to "kill" a paparazzo in an incident that landed him in deep water with police over the weekend.

The reality TV star brother of Kim Kardashian ended up in handcuffs and was almost arrested in Miami when he decided to chase the photographer on Sunday morning after he saw him taking pictures.

The 25-year-old has insisted he was just "joking" when he chased the photographer.

However new footage, obtained by TMZ, shows Rob in a heated argument with a woman before he ran after the photographer. Rob appears to have chased the paparazzo only when he realised he was recording the dispute.

The photographer is seen running into a nearby cigarette shop to hide out before Rob finds him and follows him inside. Police witnessed the incident and followed the two inside the shop. The photographer then yelled out to the police, "He's attacking me ... he chased me ... he tried to kill me."

When police restrained Rob and asked why he was in the shop, he responded, "I'm shopping."

Rob also told police he chased the photographer because he "did not like paparazzi filming him," according to a police report.

However, police let the men go after determining there was no altercation.
