‘Rockstar’ has been very special for Ranbir Kapoor for more than one reason. The Film which will have Ranbir in a never seen before avatar also has his paternal relative late Shammi Kapoor in a small cameo. Rockstar proved to be Shammi Kapoor's last film before his death. But now Ranbir is all set for a nostalgic music launch that will have an emotional connect.

The music of the film is scheduled to be launched at Delhi’s Nizamuddin Dargah. Director Imtiaz Ali and Music director A. R. Rahman have been regular visitors of the holy shrine and the team has also shot for a special song over there. Also the ‘Dargah’ was frequently visited by Ranbir’s great grand father and showman Raj Kapoor.

Citing their emotional and spiritual connect, the trio zeroed on the special venue for their film’s music launch. Hence it has been confirmed that the film’s music will be released at Delhi’s Nizamuddin Dargah.

The film is slated to be released on 11th November, 2011.
