(Cover) - EN Movies - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wasn't sure about appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon as she knew it would change her destiny.
The 24-year-old British model received an email from the movie's director Michael Bay about possibly starring in the sci-fi adventure last year, after she impressed him during a shoot for lingerie brand Victoria's Secret.
The star wasn't sure whether she was ready to make the move into cinema, and knew starring alongside Shia LaBeouf in the follow-up to 2007 blockbuster Transformers and 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen would alter her career path significantly.
"Within 24 hours of the casting director explaining that what they were actually looking for was a new female lead and would I be interested, I was in LA, meeting with Shia, having to make one of the biggest decisions I've ever had to call. I really toyed with not doing it; I knew it would be life-changing," she told the British edition of GQ.
Rosie is pleased she decided to opt for the role of Carly Miller in the movie. The star believes she made the right choice in meeting with Michael, as she tries to never ignore a possible new career venture. At first she didn't realise just how large her part would be.
"I wasn't jumping around about it information was limited about how big the role was, initially but I've got this rule about business; always take a meeting. So I did," she smiled. (C) Cover Media
