Russell Brand insists he's "happily married" and the internet is a "wicked little liar".
The British star wed Katy Perry last year. There has been speculation they are going through a difficult time, with rumours rife that Katy was filing for divorce earlier this week.
Katy has dismissed the reports and now Russell has spoken out about them too.
"WHAT! She should have told me!" he shouted when talk show host Ellen DeGeneres said she'd heard that he is splitting from Katy.
"There's always rumours aren't there? In the end you have to just not engage with internet technology which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy. But they've had to go. I treat the whole internet like it's a wicked little liar. I'm really happily married Being famous is like a little bit of you is taken away and goes off and lives on its own and does what it wants. I wish it would do more interesting things. I don't know what the other me is doing but I'm married to Katy until death do us part is the pledge. I'm still alive!"
Katy recently appeared on Ellen's show and said she is considering starting a family before too long.
Russell would love to be a father in the near future, explaining he enjoys being around children.
"I would like one. I love those little babies in the beginning," he mused. "They're so lovely in that bit."
The 36-year-old then discussed the one-year-old twin boys he and Katy are godparents to. At the beginning he wasn't sure how much fun Sam and Donovan were, but as they've got a bit older his opinion has completely changed.
"At first they were boring. They were just essentially little fluid factories, generating fluids - no regard for what I was wearing," he said. "Now, they are interesting. They smile and look at me and wonder I'm just observing them like I'm a scientist.
"Me and Katy are their godparents, which means we're responsible for their spiritual growth. Should be interesting."
