Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been enjoying romantic dates in Bangkok.

The stunning actress is currently visiting her movie star beau on location in the Thai capital.

Ryan is shooting his new film Only God Forgives in the city and made it worth Eva's while by taking her on a number of romantic outings.

"They walked hand in hand to dinner at Japanese restaurant Nippon Kai on Feb. 2," an eyewitness told American publication Life & Style. "They were very quiet and everyone left them alone. And in person Eva is even more beautiful!"

According to a second source, the couple also enjoyed a low-key night at the cinema. The Hollywood lovebirds caught a movie at the busy Paragon Cineplex and made sure they understood every word by hiring a translator.

"There were so many people there, but they looked like they were with a translator. They didn't try to hide themselves. Ryan was wearing a T-shirt and jeans while Eva wore a white dress," the source said.

On another occasion, Ryan took his leading lady out for drinks at the WTF bar and gallery.

Once again, onlookers were surprised how down-to-earth the pair were.

"They just walked right in without making a scene. Eva sipped Red Bull while Ryan drank tequila. They were talking about documentaries!" an eyewitness said.

Eva and Ryan have been dating since last year after they grew close while filming The Place Beyond The Pines.

Sources say that the Drive actor has fallen "hook, line and sinker" for the Latin-American beauty and is "obsessed" with her.
