Saif walks outs of Taurani's next

7th February 2014
It was recently reported that Saif Ali Khan has been signed to play the lead in filmmaker Ramesh Taurani's next production venture that was to be helmed by director Mohit Suri

After working together on the 'Race' series successfully, Saif and Ramesh share a great relationship. Hence, it came as no surprise when the two collaborated on another film.

But now, money issues have spoiled the plan for the talked about film.

Saif was not happy with the remuneration offered to him by Ramesh and demanded a hike in it. After being refused, Saif decided to walk out of the film.

Apparently, Ramesh offered him Rs. 10 crores while Saif demanded Rs. 16 crore for the film.

The two couldn't settle the argument over money and hence cordially decided to part ways for this film.

Saif confirmed the report stating, "The price Taurani was offering me was too low," he said.

Nonetheless, their dispute over this film won't affect 'Race' franchise as Saif will continue to be a part of it. Both Saif and Ramesh have agreed that their differences over Mohit Suri's film shouldn't affect the same.

The two have amicably closed this chapter and continue to maintain their professional equation for good.

All's well that ends well.
