It has been eight long years after the release of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Dabangg', which cherished Salman's benevolent character of Robinhood Pandey urf Chulbul Pandey. The film was helmed by Abhinav Kashyap and it marked the Bollywood debut of Sonakshi Sinha.
Today, the 'Kick' actor shared a still from the film announcing the next venture as well. Salman tweeted,"Aaj 8 saal Ho Gaye Dabangg Ko... thank u for all the appreciation and love from Rajjo and Chulbul Pandey...see u in #Dabangg3 next year."

The massy entertainer was simple yet entwining as the audiences still consider it as one of the best cop dramas in Bollywood. The film also starred late Vinod Khanna, Sonu Sood, Dimple Kapadia and Arbaaz Khan in pivotal roles.
'Dabangg 3' which is the third instalment is set to be helmed by Prabhu dheva and is likely to go on floors by the end of this year. The second part of the franchise was directed by Arbaaz Khan.
