Good news for all the well wishers of Salman Khan, the actor is finally acquitted from the 13 year old 2002 Hit & Run Case and walks free as the prosecution failed to prove that he was drinking and driving.

The Bombay High Court, yesterday, acquitted Salman from the case on the grounds of "strong suspicion of guilt cannot be used to hold a person guilty".

As the prosecution failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the actor was drunk and was driving the vehicle, the Bombay High Court pronounced his acquittal and he finally walked free from the case.

Reportedly, Salman broke down after hearing the court pronounce his acquittal from the case and was also briefly seen humming a tune.
