(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sandra Bullock is starring in Ricky Gervais' new mockumentary about dwarves.
The 46-year-old Oscar winning actress, who is famed for her roles in Hollywood blockbusters including The Proposal, Crash and The Blind Side, is reportedly starring in the BBC television programme alongside a few little known British TV stars.
The brunette beauty, who is jetting into the UK this month to start filming scenes, will join the comedy line up for Ricky's new show called Life's Too Short, which includes Keith Chegwin, Les Dennis and Shaun Williamson.
The show, which will be screened later this year, will follow the escapades of dwarf actor Warwick Davis who is best known for starring in fantasy film Willow - running a talent agency for short people.
"Just having an Oscar winner alongside Chegwin, Les and Shaun is hilarious. It just goes to show the sort of pull Ricky Gervais has," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
Sandra was previously the target of one of Ricky's jokes when he presented the Golden Globes awards this year. The British funnyman jokingly confessed during the prestigious ceremony that Sandra once told him "poor people were gross and smelled bad".
"It just shows that Sandra has her sense of humour intact and isn't one to hold grudges," the source added.
Ricky, 49, wrote the script for Life's Too Short with Stephen Merchant. The pair have co-written a number of projects together including The Office.
It has also been reported that Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp also has a cameo role in the show. (C) Cover Media
