Sanjay Dutt who was on a parole granted on the grounds of wife Manyata's health has now returned to jail.

The actor was released on a one-month parole on December 21, 2013. However, as his wife had not completely recovered, Dutt had extended it for another month, till February 21 and then again till March 21, 2014.

He left from his Bandra residence, accompanied by his friend Bunty Walia on Saturday afternoon.

Dutt is serving the remaining 42 months of his sentence for illegal possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 serial blasts.
