The author who has given us bestsellers like Five Point Someone, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, One Night @ the Call Center and 2 States, Chetan Bhagat will now move to screen-play.

The famous book writer will be writing the script for the movie 'Kick' starring Salman Khan.

All excited about the same, here is what Chetan Bhagat wrote on his microblogging page, "Happy to share with you that I'll be writing the screenplay of 'Kick' starring Salman Khan and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala."

"Kick is a about a guy who lives life only for his kicks, a powerful concept and a perfect recipe for a Salman-Nadiadwala blockbuster. Have known both Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala for a while and been wanting to work with them.Couldn't have asked for a better screenplay debut."

He further wrote, "Will be adapting Kick from original Telugu superhit, with fair amount of changes as well. Huge expectations, need all ur support! Thanks! Many writers upgrade,get agents in London. I want to reach masses. The day I reach Indian farmers I'll consider myself a true Indian writer."

Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been in the industry as a producer for 25 years has now turned to direction, which is a surprise to all but the excitement has been high as well. Replacing Shirish Kunder, Sajid now wants to make sure that he picks the right female lead opposite Salman.
