(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Seth Rogen says starring in a Beastie Boys video was amazing.
The Canadian actor appears in a short film titled Fight for Your Right Revisited alongside fellow actors Elijah Wood and Danny McBride. The trio parodied the famous 1987 video from the legendary rap outfit, complete with symbolic outfits.
Seth reveals he had no hesitation in accepting a part in the film as the band had always been an inspiration to him.
"That was it. It was amazing. I'm a huge Beastie Boys fan and they just called and asked if I wanted to be a part of it and I said yes without hesitation. I didn't need to hear anything. I didn't need to see anything, any concepts. I was just like, 'I will literally do anything you ask me to do, he told MTV.
The 28-year-old also marvelled at the fact that the films producers managed to recreate the era perfectly for their shoot. He confirmed that the Beastie Boys themselves helped with the authenticity of the outfits with members Mike D (Michael Diamond), MCA (Adam Yauch), and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz) keen to offer a helping hand.
"It was hard to get. The real Ad-Rock was saying he still has the Stuyvesant T-shirt that he wore in the video, but they made another one for Elijah. It was amazing," he gushed. (C) Cover Media
