Shah Rukh Khan to remake a Tamil film

30th January 2012

What could be the common link between these three actors? Well, allow us to explain you. Shah Rukh wants to remake a Tamil movie and he finds it tough to decide between two blockbuster Kollywood projects- "Vettaiyadu Vilayadu" and "Ramanna".

While "Vettaiyadu Vilayadu", a spine-chilling action thriller directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon had Kamal Haasan in the lead role, "Ramanna", a racy movie with a social message, was helmed by A R Murugadoss with Vijayakanth playing the protagonist.

'Shah Rukh recently watched both the films and was thoroughly impressed by them. He is struggling to take a decision to choose between the two. If Murugadoss accepts to direct "Ramanna" remake, he would choose the Vijayakanth starrer,' sources say.

They add: 'However, since the Ghajini director is currently busy wielding the megaphone for Vijay starrer "Thuppakki", SRK might go ahead with "Vettaiyadu Vilayadu" remake. And he might act in "Ramanna" remake sometime next year.'
