Shahid Kapoor should thank God for the inborn talent that he has inherited from his father, the talented veteran actor Pankaj Kapur. And he sure is giving it back in his own sweet way.

The senior Kapoor recently confessed that since he doesn't go out much, he gets most of industry news from his popular son.

Pankaj, who also made his directorial debut with 'Mausam', seeks professional advice from his son and of course, Shahid is more than willing to share some insight with his dad.

The national award winning actor who earlier was never comfortable talking about his work with anyone, admits that when you reach a certain age, you need to listen to the youngsters who are more out there.
