Shahid Kapoor is always present at every award function. Be it hosting the event or performing at it, Shahid has covered it all at most of the award functions till date.

But starting this year, the actor has been missing at every felicitation ceremony that has taken place. Knowing that Shahid dances very well, he received several offers from various organizers. But the actor refused all the offers he got from the beginning itself.

Apparently, Shahid has been very busy with the films that he has signed. He's had a chock-a-block schedule and still continues to have one.

Shahid has been shooting back to back for two films, Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' with Ileana D'cruz and 'Rambo Rajkumar' with Sonakshi Sinha.

Since he's been shooting every single day for the last few months, he wasn't ready to take up any other commitments.
