Confirming reports of her engagement to the media, Shania Twain said that both she and Frederic had gone through the same pain after their families split up and therefore became each others support in the years following their divorces. Shania Twains website message shows how much she is in love with Nestle executive Frederic Thiebaud. The message says that they have become closer and dearer to one another after going through the pain of a breakup together.

The divorce had left Shania Twain devastated and it was during this time that she found comfort in the arms of Marie-Annes ex husband Frederic Thiebaud.
