(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sharon Stone will portray the goddess of love in upcoming picture Gods Behaving Badly.

Marc Turtletaub is directing the comedy which tells the tale of a mortal couple who meet the mythological gods of ancient times in modern New York.

The stunning 53-year-old US actress will portray Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and sexuality, alongside other big names including Christopher Walken and Alicia Silverstone.

The movie will be adapted from British writer Marie Phillips' novel of the same name, which was first published in 2007 and became an international bestseller.

Veteran star Christopher, 68, will be playing Zeus, ruler of the gods in Greek mythology. Alicia is starring as the female mortal, while her character's partner will be portrayed by 32-year-old Ebon Moss-Bachrach, known for roles in movies such as Mona Lisa Smile.

Shooting for Gods Behaving Badly is scheduled to begin later this month in New York. (C) Cover Media
