(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller are considering a reconciliation, according to reports.

The former couple's divorce was granted in May of this year, after Charlie filed the documentation in November 2010.

The pair, who have both entered rehabilitation programmes for substance abuse, are now drug-free. The parents, who have two-year-old twin sons together, are interested in restoring their family.

A source reveals that the pair are considering "getting back together".

"[Brooke is] totally gung-ho," the source told Us Weekly. "[Charlie] just wants his kids to be happy, and if that means they need to be a family, then he is up for it... The kids have suffered a lot, and he feels so guilty lately."

In recent months there has been widespread speculation about Charlie's lack of sobriety. Charlie's children are thought to be the motivating factor behind his control.

"[Charlie] hates that he's made [his kids] so unhappy," said the source. "No one believes anything he says, but the truth is he's been clean since February."

Charlie and Brook were seen in Los Angeles boarding a private jet together on Friday.

Charlie has three other children including two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and a 26-year-old daughter from an earlier relationship. (C) Cover Media
