(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sheryl Crow has never lived the sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle because she just wanted to get off stage and change into something comfortable.
The American singer was in her late twenties when her debut album Tuesday Night Music Club was released. By that time Sheryl felt too old to indulge in hellraiser behaviour, instead preferring to come home after shows and relax.
Its not like the old sex, drugs and rock n roll thing now. It was never like that, she said. For one thing my first album came out when I was 29, so thats a little late for the whole... By that time I already couldnt wait to get into my comfy clothes after the gig.
Sheryl has two adopted sons, three-year-old Wyatt and five-month-old Levi. The 48-year-old loves everything about being a mother, and brings her kids away with her when she is touring. The star is currently in the UK to perform, and says the amount of stuff she has brought with her from home is colossal.
We are a travelling circus. We bring everything from that my kids... particularly my three-year-old, he has books and trains and all the things he is used to having at home with exception of the dogs and the tractor, we bring it all with us, she laughed.
Sheryl was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2006 and now speaks out about the importance of women taking care of themselves and checking for lumps.
At the time of her diagnosis Sheryl had split from her fianc Lance Armstrong, and admits she was feeling under pressure. I am healthy, I was healthy before that. It was a real shock to my system and psychology to know that I was eating right was pretty healthy, but pretty stressed at that point in my life I dont know if that had anything to do with the immediacy of the proliferation of my cells, its hard to say, she told the BBC. No doctor is going to tell you that stress is related to the happening, but there are people that do believe theres an occurrence there. (C) Cover Media
