Shirley MacLaine reveals that she has had "many love affairs" over the years.

The 78-year-old actress was married to late film producer Steve Parker for over 28 years before they divorced in 1982. They share daughter Sachi, 54, together.

Shirley and Steve enjoyed an open relationship.

The Hollywood legend experimented with love in a number of ways throughout her lifetime.

"I had many love affairs and a lot of awful lovers," she told British newspaper The Mirror.

"I wasn't into sexscapades', but I did try it once.

"It was during a political campaign where everyone was doing the same thing. So I didn't want to be left out. I had sex with three men in one day. It was stupid and it brought me no satisfaction."

Shirley confesses that it is quite easy for her to grow fond of her castmates.

She found some of the men she starred alongside with throughout the years to be incredibly attractive.

"I've always been attracted to my male co-stars. I found male actors very intriguing," she revealed.

"I fell in love with someone on every picture I made for the first 30 years."
