South beauty Shruti Haasan, who has been a part of many Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, is not just an actor, but also someone who has singing skills.

No doubt the actress was a part of a rock band and also worked with Dave Kushner for a song in 'Hisss', but now the actress-musician is keen on bringing out her own album.

She has stated, 'I've always wanted to bring out an album of my own, but I wasn't sure if I could do it. But, now  I've gained confidence and have even started collaborating with independent musicians for the same,'.

The actress has not signed any new projects and when she was asked about the same, she replied stating, 'I've had back-to-back releases in the south film industry. Now, I know what kind of films I want to be part of, and I'm in a position to carefully choose my roles.'
