Following the grand success of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya', Silambarasan has decided to change his ways of not opting for commercial movies for time being. His next movie 'Vaanam', a remake of Telugu flick 'Vedam' is a multi-starrer in which he will not have such a great role and has equal importance as other 4 characters – Bharath, Anushka, Prakash Raj and Saranya. He has almost completed shooting for the other movie 'Poda Podi. He will kick-start his other project 'Vettai Mannan' from April that will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Now the actor himself has confirmed that he will be remaking the Hindi movie 'Dabangg' as the producers have signed him. Talks are going on with other star-casts and crewmembers now. The Telugu remake rights have been acquired by Pawan Kalyan and it is titled as 'Gabbar Singh'.
