(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Pegg has described attending a movie premiere as being 70 per cent the same as coal mining.

The 40-year-old British actor is currently promoting new movie Paul, a science-fiction comedy which he wrote with good friend and frequent collaborator Nick Frost.

Simon and Nick attended the movies premiere in London, England, last night, and the pair admit they arent big fans of swanky showbiz parties.

Its 70 per cent the same as coal mining, laughed Simon, when asked if he considers attending a premiere as work. Meanwhile Nick jokingly compared film screenings as being like going to the wedding of someone you dont really know, since he and Simon dont tend to move in celebrity circles.

Simon and Nick have been friends for many years, enjoying success together in movies such as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and the actors insist they never get bored of being around one another. The pair even make sure they stay in contact on a daily basis.

We text a lot, we tweet a lot, sometimes we just say good morning, Simon told BBC Radio One. However, the star confessed he does get a little bit bored with hearing about Nicks current diet, as the 38-year-old is trying to lose weight. (C) Cover Media
