The 34-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful career in the film industry, scoring huge hits with 2001s Legally Blonde and 2005s Walk the Line. The actress is grateful for the commercial success shes achieved, and is still astounded at how her life has turned out. When she was a young girl, the star had no idea shed grow up to be a world famous actress.

I live a very different kind of life than I ever imagined I would. I thought I was going to be a doctor but I think it really helps to know where youre from and remember that, she told Total Film magazine.

Reese went on to reveal that most of her life decisions stem from her upbringing and the morals instilled in her by her family. All her film choices are influenced by these factors, singling out 2007 film Rendition as a case in point.

It informs everything I do, every movie choice I make. Coming from a very conservative political background really informed my choice in making Rendition, for instance. In my family, Im now the person who comes from Los Angeles with all the crazy ideas, she added. (C) Cover Media
