Snooki was terrified to tell her father she was pregnant.

The reality TV star and her fiance Jionni LaValle are expecting their first child in September. The 24-year-old can't wait to become a mother but admits telling her family the news was nerve-wracking.

"Oh, I was scared to tell my dad, of course!" she laughed to People.

"[My dad] is excited now. I think [my parents] are more excited than we are. I'm their only child and this is going to be their [first] grandchild."

Snooki real name Nicole Polizzi knew Jionni was her soul mate after releasing he was her best friend as well as her boyfriend.

"I've never had that with anyone except Jionni, so I put two and two together and figured he's definitely The One," she said.

She always knew they would have children, but didn't expect to start a family so soon.

Snooki added she may do a new reality show once she is a mom.

"As long as [Jionni's] comfortable with everything, I would," she said. "If not, I might have to step back a little. Now we have a child so there are other factors involved."
