(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Snoop Dogg wants to reinvent himself as a crooner.

The controversial rapper has often found himself in hot water from critics who accuse him of having sexist lyrics in his songs. In 2008 he was forced to defend himself after Oprah Winfrey branded him a misogynist, insisting that he regrets his earlier songs.

Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, has revealed he would love to totally overhaul his image and make an entire album of romantic ballads.

"My God! Heavens to Betsey! Would I like to do a crooning album? Oh yeah," he told music magazine Q.

When he's not performing in concerts or in front of the camera as an actor, Snoop revealed that he loves playing board games His favourite is Monopoly, where players compete to buy properties and make money.

"I like to play as either the shoe or the car. Not the dog? No, I don't follow the dog," he joked. (C) Cover Media
