(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jason Bateman is glad he has managed to "stay relevant" after a long career.

The 42-year-old US actor has been working in the entertainment industry since the early 80s, and is best known for his role as Michael Bluth in hit TV show Arrested Development.

He is currently promoting comedy Horrible Bosses, which he appears in alongside Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey, and admits he's thrilled with the way his career has panned out.

"Things are better today than they ever were," he smiled in an interview with Total Film.

"Things were pretty great 20 years ago and the fact that I've been able to keep things going and stay relevant, that's something I'm most proud of cos that gravity is pretty strong!"

Jason isn't concerned with becoming one of the most famous stars on the planet. He takes a relaxed attitude to stardom, considering working in Hollywood as similar to attending a party.

"It's been just over 30 years now, and if I can get another 30 years...That's what I'm shooting for. It's not about being super-rich or super-famous, I just want to continue to be asked to join the party," he enthused. (C) Cover Media
