(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sofa Vergara is considering having a second child.

The 40-year-old Modern Family star recently got engaged to on-off boyfriend Nick Loeb during a family vacation in Mexico to celebrate her milestone birthday.

Sofa has a 21-year-old son from her first marriage and it seems that the feisty Colombian beauty is prepared to get knee deep in diapers again.

"Nick proposed to Sofa only under the condition that she would try to have a baby with him," a source told In Touch.

"He really, really wants a child, and although he loves her son, Manolo, he still wants one of his own."

Sofa was apparently against the idea for a long time but didn't want it to be a deal breaker for her relationship with Nick.

"She really loves Nick and has agreed that if it happens, it happens," the insider added.

In a recent magazine interview, Sofa fuelled baby rumours by revealing she is open to expanding her family. However, she ruled out raising a big brood of kids.

"I would think about it," she told Allure when asked about having another baby. "I can have more nannies. So it wouldn't be something crazy for me. But I wouldn't have four. Maybe one is fine."

Sofa is currently filming new scenes for the latest season of TV show Modern Family. Earlier this week she was spotted showing off a prosthetic baby bump on the set in Los Angeles, as her character Gloria Delgado-Pritchett is pregnant. (C) Cover Media
