(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sofia Coppola believes her directing style is different to her male counterparts.

The Academy Award winning filmmaker who is best known for her 2003 romantic drama Lost in Translation accepts she doesnt make movies in the same way as male directors. However, Sofia insists she doesnt see this as a disadvantage. In fact, she believes her unique method of working helps her stand out from the crowd.

"I probably work differently as a director compared to a man - well, I'm just being me, Sofia explained in an interview with German magazine Brigitte. I think you can be strong without becoming loud."

Sofia has been directing for more than ten years and is glad she has found a career which inspires and excites her. Even though she has worked on a series of hit movies, she would never feel complacent about her success and always strives to push herself further.

Sofia believes it is important for people to determine what their strengths are and then pursue a career based around that.

You have to find out what you are good at, she explained, before adding hard work is also essential to achieving life goals. (C) Cover Media
