Sona on Sunday announced that she would hold a protest in front of S P Charan's house, for not tendering an apology for misbehaving with her at a party hosted to celebrate the success of Mankatha.

It may be recalled that the actress-producer lodged a police complaint against Charan a week ago, alleging that he sexually assaulted her during the party. Charan, who denied the allegations, also obtained an anticipatory bail from the Madras High Court.

Following this, Sona is intensifying her protest against Charan, by joining hands with some women rights organisations. The actress-producer said on Sunday that she along with members of the women forum would stage a protest in front of Charan's house on Monday.

"After the agitation on Charan's residence on Monday, I will go to Pondy Bazaar police station in T Nagar to further explain to the officials my side of the story. I will also provide evidence against Charan at that time," she said.
