Sridevi's comeback film, which is directed by Balki, is about a middle-class Indian woman who learns English on a fast-track, as she has to go to America.

"The movie, tentatively titled 'English Vinglish', is loosely based on the popular TV show 'Zabaan Sambhalke'. It revolves around a woman who doesn't know English and hence becomes a butt of fun among her neighbors and friends," say sources. They add: "One fine day, she gets an opportunity to go to the United States. Here starts her quest to learn English. She quickly learns the language and stuns everyone around. The film is going to be a laugh riot, with enough dose of message."

Sridevi is thrilled about her comeback. The queen bee of Bollywood once, who hails from the south, bid adieu to acting after she entered wedlock with popular producer Boney Kapoor, more than a decade ago, She is the mother of two daughters now.
