Prateik, the promising newcomer of Hindi film industry has impressed critics and audience with his power house performances in films like "Dhobi Ghat" and "Dum Maaro Dum".

It seems that the over whelming success has given Prateik a sense of star-tantrums. The actor reportedly has started demanding huge fees and is fast loosing out on plum offers due to his rigid demands. He was recently offered Shoojit Sircar's "Second Time Lucky" and it was reportedly his pricey demands that led to his ouster from the film. He demanded an astronomical figure and the producers felt that the amount was not worth.

Apparently Prateik asked Rs. 1.5 crore for the film. This was not the only one, if reports are to be believed he lost out on Tigmanshu Dhulia's "Milan Talkies" due to his high end monetary demands.
