One of everyone's favourite in 2012, 'Kahaani' was a great story one could ask for. A supense film that hooked you on to your seats till the very end, Sujoy Ghosh couldn't ask for anything more than everyones well wishes and praises.

All set to make a sequel to the first part, Sujoy states that he is very keen to cast Amitabh Bachchan in 'Kahaani 2'.

"Yes, I can assure you that Amitabh Bachchan will be part of Kahaani 2 in some way or the other. His blessings matter a lot to me. I can't see myself making any films without him," said Sujoy who also mentioned that the actor has also lent his voice in 'Ekla Chalo Re' in 'Kahaani'.

Talking about the shooting Sujoy says, "In a month's time... I am still scripting the film so I can't say exactly when I will start shooting. The story will be a continuation from where we have left Kahaani."

Apparently, it is heard that Vidya Balan who played a pregnant protagonist in the film will be seen doing action sequences in the second part.

"Yes, I am planning to make her do some action sequence in Kahaani 2 but let's see how things shape up. It's going to be challenging for me to prove myself again, but I am not thinking about that at all. I am just hoping for the best," said Ghosh.

A film made at a budget of 8 crores, it managed to acquire 80 crores at the box office. Vidya was highly appreciated for her performance in the film, but it was aptly supported by the performances of Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
