Susan Sarandon clueless about critics

28th June 2012

Susan Sarandon has no idea what people say about her online because she can't use computers.

The 65-year-old actress knows many celebrities get upset when they read bad reviews about their films or see rude comments posed on the internet. Although some might find it strange that she has not ventured into the cyber world, Susan is happy that way.

"I wouldn't even know how to Google myself," she laughed to New York Post. "I don't know how to touch a computer."

Susan usually feels happy with her performances in her films and doesn't see why she should let others peoples' opinions influence her. Even if she is praised for her portrayal of a character, it doesn't affect her.

"I don't want to know," she said. "Even stuff that's really good shouldn't get stuck in your head, because it's not real."

The actress was speaking at a gala hosted by the Trevor Project, which aims to give support to young people who are struggling with their sexuality. The event was held at Chelsea Piers in New York City and Susan's dedication to helping fight teen suicide was praised.

She took the opportunity to speak out about cyber bullying.

"Usually the people that have time to go online and sit there and be negative are such losers. But, of course, you can't understand that when you're a kid," she said.
